On September 10 at 6:45 pm before the performance of “WASP HUNTING. A MATTER OF DEATH AND LIVE” in the Foyer STUDIO and online on our YouTube channel will be the premiere of a music video featuring The Blu Mantic & L.Ø.V. Music Group.

Generation After 8. Showcase. Truth or Dare!

Generation After. Showcase, organized by Nowy Teatr since 2017, presents the latest offerings of the Polish theatre and choreography scene to the representatives of the major global festivals and theatre institutions. This year’s 8th edition will take place on 5-7 September 2024. Showcase will feature the play Performers Anonymous based on the choreographic concept of Ramona Nagabczyńska. The programme of side events will feature the following plays: “Wasp Hunting. A Matter of Death and Life” dir. by Natalia Korczakowska, based on the book by Wojciech Tochman from STUDIO.

Partnership Between CalArts and STUDIO

The cooperation between CalArts and STUDIO Teatrgaleria was initiated in 2017, when Travis Preston visited Warsaw on behalf of CNP, intrigued by the idea of accessing and revitalizing STUDIO’s avant-garde traditions, a process I have pursued as STUDIO’s Artistic Director since 2016. After Travis saw Berlin Alexanderplatz, the first performance I directed at STUDIO, we spoke about perspectives for the future. "The Employees" at the Lessingtage 2024

"The Employees" dir. by Łukasz Twarkowski on 26 and 27 January at the Lessingtage 2024 festival in Thalia Theatre, Hamburg. The motto of the 15th edition of the festival is "Lessingtage – For the world".
The programme includes plays directed by Luk Perceval, Milo Rau, FC Bergman, Lisaboa Houbrechts, Nino Haratischwili.

In September 2023 STUDIO teatrgaleria hosted the LINKAGES: Poland delegation from the United States. LINKAGES: Poland is a multi-year initiative designed to forge long-term, artist-to-artist connections between a new generation of theatre artists/leaders in the US and Poland.

SONIC PORTALS

In "Sonic Portals", its creator – Ciro Goudsmit – combines his research on low-frequency oscillators, with (afro) futuristic thinking. Co-produced with the National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw as part of the CHANGE – NOW! program. Opening night: 17 February 2023, 7pm.

THE EMPLOYEES

Performance-installation by Łukasz Twarkowski, one of the most interesting creators of his generation, based on the novel of a contemporary Danish author, Olga Ravn. The story of "The Employees" unfolds in an undetermined near future, on a spaceship carrying people and humanoid robots.

Exhibition: TRANS 11.603

GALERIA STUDIO. Opening: Monday, September 13, 2021, 7–10 PM. This exhibition features works by Peruvian artists whom the curator Inés R. Artola met during her stay in Lima in July 2019. They chose the work presented. The common denominator of the exhibition is portable memory.
