Witty and shrewd, their jokes range from scathing irony to visual pun, their sense of humour verges into skepticism. They send Message in Morse Code That You Will Not Understand, they do not believe that Speech Is Golden, and they warn us: Never Say Never. What is the truth they want to convey? What is their diagnosis of the world? There is a piece of advice for those who ask too much: Brain Cooling.

The show Studio for Students. Video Art Now is a result of an Open Call organized by Studio Gallery in Warsaw and the Department of Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Twenty seven artists (some participating in teams) took part in the competition. The jury, consisting of Grzegorz Kowalski, Mirosław Bałka, and Prot Jarnuszkiewicz from the Academy of Fine Arts, together with Dorota Jarecka and Barbara Piwowarska from Galeria Studio, chose twelve  artists (including one team among them) to participate in the show.
