Exhibition from the series STUDIUM

The guest of yet another iteration of STUDIUM open meetings around the collection of Galeria Studio is Włodzimierz Jan Zakrzewski. The starting point of the exhibition is Painting Dated April 19, 1979, which belongs to the Galeria Studio collection. The show also features the artist’s new painting, Kalisz, 1940 (2019), created specifically for the exhibition.
The exhibition at Galeria Studio expands Włodzimierz Jan Zakrzewski’s dialogue with his own painting from forty years ago. Other works by the artist, created throughout 1979, which offer a testimony to the need to record time in art, will combine to form a visual calendar, an enigmatic private story of a dozen months of work.

The artist’s guided tour of the exhibition will be held on June 25, 6 PM

The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 11 AM and 7 PM

until July 14, 2019
